Service Description: Redevelopment area in the Kansas City region is an approximation of the area developed in 1990. Within the redevelopment area, any land use change resulting in an increase in population or employment is defined as redevelopment or infill in the long-range forecast. These people and jobs are the ones counted when calculating the percentage of regional growth accomodated by the refill of the existing urbanized area.
