The existing bridge is structurally deficient and the limited water carrying capacity causes upstream flooding and roadway overtoping. This project will replace the structurally deficient bridge and provide improved stormater capacity to reduce flooding and issues with roadway overtoping and provide improved pedestrian accommodations.
